The Idaho Department of Education provides information on Adult Basic Education and GED testing, including its Adult Basic Education Five Year State Plan and details on Idaho GED Testing Centers.

Idaho Adult Basic Education (ABE) is delivered through regional post-secondary institutions which house learning centers. The local programs coordinate with other agencies and local employers to provide direct student instruction in basic skills, English as a Second Language, GED preparation, and a variety of life skills.
