Education, supports workplace basic skills education in
Connecticut. The Bureau provides information on GED
testing, Career Cluster Frameworks, as well as vocational and

Vocational-Technical School System provides full-time
post-high school programs, apprentice training and part-time

Literacy Center offers services that foster literacy
development from early childhood to adult. Technical assistance
and training are available in the areas of Adult Literacy,

The New England Literacy
Resource Center (NELRC) strengthens adult literacy services
in New England through sharing and collaborative special
projects among State Literacy Resource Centers (SLRC), adult

The General
Educational Development (GED) Testing Program provides
Connecticut adults with a second chance to obtain their high
school diplomas. Information about the GED tests,
including eligibility, application procedures and testing

Council for Advancement of Adult Literacy, compares
selected adult basic education program characteristics of community
