Economic Benefits
This simple, one page tool asks employers to review a checklist of 26 direct and indirect economic benefits gained through workplace education programs because employees improve their basic skills, and identify:
    1)    Which economic benefits
did their organization gain?
    2)    Which benefits were measured?

The American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) presents free case studies, articles and reports on measuring the impact of employee learning and on assessing learning outcomes.

EXTERNAL EVALUATORS

Penn State University's Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy  acts as an external evaluator for a number of workplace literacy programs in Pennsylvania.  Evaluations include site visits, assisting in design of data collection instruments, reviewing program documentation to determine program effectiveness, and producing an summary report.
