Louisiana's State Literacy Resource Center, housed in the Louisiana Department of Education's Division of Adult Education and Training, provides professional development and technical assistance for literacy and adult education programs throughout the state.  Through the Center, you can access over 2,500 titles on many literacy topics from the State Library of Louisiana.

The Louisiana Technical Community College System provides vocational-technical education programs and services to youth and adults.  Adult literacy and basic skills instruction in reading, writing and math is offered.

The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry is a business lobby group in Louisiana, formed over twenty-five years ago by business leaders from all over the state.  It seeks to unify the state's business community into a strong organization, to speak for business and industry and to be a force in Louisiana government.

The Louisiana Licensing Guide, from the Office of Occupational Information Services, Research and Statistics Division, provides information about regulated occupations.  Regulation of these occupations ensures that minimum standards are met by all licensed, certified and registered practitioners.
